A.L.L. Committee
Charged with seeing that all newly raised Master Masons
complete the A.L.L. program within 60 days of raising
and for reporting that the A.L.L exercises have been
completed at a Stated Meeting (and that the minutes
reflect this at the following Stated Meeting). The
Committee Chairman is responsible for seeing to it
that the Lodge has all necessary materials on hand
at all times.

Esoteric Instruction Committee
It is the duty of this committee to ensure the advancement
of Lodge proficiency. All ritual study should be conducted
on a regular schedule and include: (1) Opening/Closing
of the Lodge (long form), (2) Conferral of all Degrees,
(3) Opening/Closing of the Lodge of Sorrow, (4) Reception
of the D.D.G.M., (5) Voting Procedures, (6) Lodge
Etiquette & Masonic Protocol, and (7) the Tilers
Oath. The Committee is also responsible for ensuring
that at least two Committee on Work Forums are attended,
exam locations and schedules are disseminated, and
create a plan so that any certificate goals can be
met.

Fraternal Assistance Committee
Responsible for receiving, assessing, and reporting
any requests from needy Trinity Valley Lodge brethren
and/or their family members. Requests for Fraternal
Assistance Reports are given at a Stated Meeting and
shall include the amount and/or type of assistance
requested and any recommendations for how the Lodge
should assist.

Fund Raising Committee
Responsible for the conceptualizing and organizing
of at least one Fund Raising event per quarter and
generating no less than $750.00 per year. It is the
Committee Chairman's responsibility to ensure that
(1) all events are lawful with respect to Federal,
State, and Local regulations, as well as Grand Lodge
of Texas Laws and Trinity Valley By-laws, (2) any
Lodge Sponsored events open to the public shall be
mindful of Masonic Protocol and represent the Lodge
in the best possible light.

Funeral Committee
The Chairman of this committee is responsible for
reporting deaths of Trinity Valley brethren on a monthly
basis, establishing a regular funeral team and the
scheduling of at least one practice per quarter. The
committee is responsible for bringing all necessary
materials to funerals, sending condolences (via card)
to the family, and remaining in touch with the family
members after the funeral to ensure they receive support.

Greeting Committee
Charged with having greeters stationed to meet and
assist visitors and members at all Special Events.
Also, responsible for having a greeter at back door
to meet and assist any potential candidate or petitioner
that we are aware is coming.

Jurisprudence Committee
Despite a common misconception, jurisprudence deals
with the theory and philosophy of law as well as "the
letter" of the Law. To the extent possible, this
committee is charged with obtaining a deeper understanding
of the nature of law, of legal reasoning and systems,
and of legal findings in order to keep the Lodge and
Brethren lawfully informed and help the Senior Warden
fulfill his duty of ensuring Peace and Harmony prevail.
The
Committee Chairman is the Junior Warden (the current
Lawyer of the Lodge) who is primarily supported by
the Senior Warden (the former Lawyer of the Lodge).
When and if the Committee is asked to reach a determination
or resolve legal or protocol matters, disputes, or
issues that are not clearly addressed by The Law.
The Committee is expected to have an understanding
of the proper Grand Lodge of Texas channels. Key channels
might include: the Grand Secretary, Masonic Jurisprudence,
Grievances and Appeals, Purposes & Polices, Lodge
Assistance Mentor Program (L.A.M.P.), and Committee
on Work.
The
Committee as a whole is expected to have a firm grasp
of Esoteric Work (Including all Lectures and Charges),
as well as Masonic Protocol, Lodge By-Laws and at
least a general understanding of the accepted laws
which have historically governed our Fraternity (e.g.
the Ancient Landmarks of Our Order, Anderson's Charges,
etc.). The Committee is also responsible for recommending
any changes and additions to Lodge By-Laws that they
consider being "important" or "necessary".

Membership Relations Committee
Responsible for assisting new and current members
with any problem, need, or information they may have
relating to the Lodge. Charged with giving tours of
the Lodge Room and Scottish Rite Cathedral. See that
all Masonic materials are available at all times (Petitions,
Masonic Pamphlets, Between Friends Program, etc.).

Petition Review Committee
It is the duty of this committee to review each petition
prior to the assignment of an investigation committee
for the purpose of reconciling any obvious or underlying
questions. The Committee works chiefly with the Master
of the Lodge and Secretary (outside of Tiled Meetings)
to ensure all criteria have been met and is never
(under any circumstances) to coach the investigation
committee or to influence balloting.

Web Site/Newsletter Committee
The
purpose of the web site is to inform/educate on three
fronts (1) About Our Lodge (membership, officers,
and events), (2) the Fraternity of Yesterday, Today,
and Tomorrow, and (3) How to Join. Status reports
are given at Stated Meeting. Also responsible for
the development and distribution of one newsletter
per quarter. The Newsletter should reasonably account
for news-worthy items from the previous quarter, cover
upcoming events, feature one story for the benefit
of Masonry, announcements from Worshipful Master,
Junior and Senior Wardens and report deaths and anniversaries.

Special Liaison to the Scottish Rite
Tasked with communicating with the Scottish Rite any
time there are special requests our Lodge has for
them and work with them to see that requests are addressed.
